Throw Back Thursday

Here's my Throw back Thursday moment about one of my favorite rappers (if you know me, you already know who it is!).

Anyhow, it was back in 2007 and it was the day "Red Gone Wild" was coming out!

Every time Red came out with a new project I used to do it up big by going to the record store to cop his shit (no downloading) and making sure I had some of that good green on deck so I can really get in the moment while I listened to it!

Anyways, back on the day when "Red Gone Wild" was coming out, I was hella excited (it had been a minute since Doc released a project) so I had the homey draw me this picture (good looking out Max!!!!!).  I will never forget that moment and when I got home I got in the zone and bumped the hell outta that cd!

I don't think my ex liked that I had this picture hanging up in the room too much lol, but I still got this picture to this day.  Now it's hanging up in my office ;).  I was so amazed how Max was basically able to draw this from memory off a picture I showed him.  And he got it to me like that same day by the time I got off work!  Dopeness!  #RealFanShit ;)

I don't know what it is about Mr. Noble that makes him the shit, but he just is!  He just keeps it too real and he never let the fame get to his head!  You can just tell when an artist is genuine to the art and do it because they truly love it!  He is definitely an inspiration to me!  I will always be a loyal fan and will always show love to him & his peeps!  #Love

Are you a battle rap fan?

I know that 2020 and Covid-19 has changed the world as we once knew it.  From the required face masks to shortage of toilet paper & cleaning supplies to how we now handle food, public gatherings and events.  2020 was supposed to be a big year for a lot of people, artists and companies, but that quickly changed as soon as the new year hit! We are now in the fourth quarter of the year and people are still adjusting to the new norm.  One thing that has seemed to not " skip a beat " though is Battle Rap!  Yeah the way that it is now being viewed and delivered is different, but cats like Smack and URL TV have still managed to keep the culture alive during this pandemic.  Although nothing will ever compare to actually " being in the building " at a live event, URL TV has teamed up with Caffeine, and they have now made it possible to view live battles via the Caffeine App.  What's also dope is that you can also see these battles for FREE!  YES FOR FREE!!!...

A MicSexual Moment:

Okay so I just recently came back from doing a show in Vallejo, California. It's been awhile since I've performed so I was nervous at first ๐Ÿ‘€, but honestly I had so much to do before the show, I didn't have time to sleep or let my nerves kick all the way in the day before I left. The show was on a Saturday night, so Friday I was up early morning running around, working on projects for my hiphop collective, practicing for the show as well as working on tracks for my upcoming studio session ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽค. It was go time so I didn't fall asleep until 3 in the morning and then I was back up at 4 am so I could leave to catch my flight ✈. I was scared to really go to sleep because I didn't want to miss my flight, so I figured I would go to sleep when I got on the plane...boy was I wrong! ๐Ÿ˜ So we didn't leave until the same day I was doing my show, but luckily we started early morning.  Not only did our flight get delayed once...or twice...but it actually got delayed thr...
