Murda vs. Dracula?

Murda Mook vs. Tay Roc is going down today, October 31st!  

Will Roc show up as Dracula like he did against Daylyt?  

Those that seen Roc vs Lyt know that match went down as one of (if not the best) battles of the year!  It was one of the first times that Roc battled as his persona Dracula, and with the return of Daylyt, they both helped raise the bar on the Caffeine app as well as battle rap altogether!  Most of us fans can agree, that this was definitely one of the best Tay Roc's and one of the best Daylyt's that we've ever seen!!!

Now back to Mook and Roc...Will Dracula make his return or will Roc have to get in a different bag to go against Murda?   Mook is considered the OG in this, and although he doesn't battle as nearly as much as Roc, we know that Mook can really rap when he's focused and is good at coming up with angles!  Plus he put in the work he needed to back in the Smack day era in order to secure his spot on a lot of people's Mt. Rushmore.  Mook is not to be slept on, but neither is Roc!  Tay Roc is from the URL era and many have considered him the current face of URL. We've seen what Roc can do when he goes up against elite emcees.  

But who will show up tonight?  

Will Tay Roc come with more than just Gun bars?  How will Mook handle his debut on Caffeine and will he stay focused all 3 rounds?  

I don't know. I feel at this point it can go 2-1 either way.  I am a Mook fan, so I feel that he low key has more to prove as he has to come harder and show he can body or at least go toe to toe with this generation of battle rappers.  Mook also had a point when he said that Roc was only a few years younger than him lol...so it's not really that much of an age difference, but I take it as more so of who will represent their time during Battle Rap the best. Who will bring the best energy?  Who will be the hardest and most consistent?  

Basically it comes down to...the Smack DVD Era vs. the new Url Generation Era!

Don't get it twisted...I like Tay Roc too, so I can never hate on what he's done or his accomplishments.  I just want to see him level up like he did against Daylyt and come with more than gun bars.  I also feel like they are battling on Halloween, so him coming out as Dracula is predictable, plus he was wearing the contacts during the face offs...however...it would be dope if he just threw us all off and did something totally different.  What if he took it back to the young Tay Roc?  Back to when he used to wear that big ass hat Tay Roc...lol...(shit like that 🎤). 

As far as Mook, he's one of the ones I always look for whenever he steps in the ring.  I know what he can do, (and if it really is unlimited rounds), I just want him to stay focused and don't lose track. We all know that Mook can rap for days when given the opportunity lol.  But cats now a days have short attention spans. Mook rapping too long in rounds is one of the few things that they can really say about/use against him.  I just want him to do what he do, but also keep timing in mind and adapt to the current times.

Who will come out on top?  It all goes down tonight at 5pm pacific/8pm eastern!!!

Did you peep the Face offs?  

Some people are saying Mook won the Faceoffs, but we all know that stepping in the ring can bring a whole different energy and it doesn't always match up to the pre fight.  I think that it was interesting though and definitely got me amped up to see this match.  Mook was talking to Roc and making some good points.  Roc just seemed angry and annoyed lol.  Maybe like they were saying in the Face offs last night, that Roc really just doesn't want to be considered the "lil bro" in this.  Kind of like when big bro has to put lil bro in his place...or like a dad when he has to talk to his son lol.  

Whatever happens...I just hope that it's fire and it goes down as battle of the night!  We all know how some really big matches can sometimes end up as a disappointment, and then the one you wasn't expecting ends up stealing the show...👀.  But I think overall, that this will be one that will be talked about.  I just hope that aside from everything, that respect can be given when due and both can walk away with another dope battle in the history books!
